The final product therefore consists of two elements: AIKNOW products (the technological “bricks”) and personalized IT consulting.

DETAILS OF CLOUD VERSION

The cost structure of the IoT platform with cloud solution consists of two elements: one is recurring and tied to the use of remote AIKNOW resources (virtual machines and technological licenses) and the other is non-recurring, associated with personalization (IT consultancy).

The first cost depends on various factors, but is mainly linked to three elements: the number of devices to connect, the quantity of the data, and the storage period of the data.

For the recurring costs, we offer different solutions that follow IoT market needs and that we subdivide into two groups: PoC and manufacturing.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The cost tied to IT consultancy (one-time cost), is far less than the typical investment needed for a custom solution and is quantifiable only upon an analysis of the client’s specific requests.
With the PoC license, the number of messages is limited and exceeding that limit is not possible. In case of need to exceed the set limit, changing to a production license is suggested.
The storage time-frame for the PoC license is fixed and limited. If the time-frame needs to be increased, changing to a production version is suggested.

DETAILS OF ON-PREMISES VERSION

If opting for installation of the IoT platform on local servers, AIKNOW’s solution can be acquired in the form of a license. This option includes the possibility to manage a maintenance contract that provides access to technological updates and technical support starting from the second year.
